Work on the interior fittings will start in September while the production hall is scheduled for completion in October.

"We are ahead of our original planning timetable with the construction of the new production hall. I am extremely confident that we will start production at the beginning of November," said Dr Karlheinz Bourdon, managing director of KraussMaffei Technologies.

The doubling of the production area, to 1,570 square meters, will cover the growing demand for automated production cells for injection moulding lines, according to the company.

"Demand is undiminished because our customers are increasingly recognising the value-added and efficiency potential of effective production cells comprising robots and injection moulding machines," added Dr Bourdon.
